Robinson Road Rec Area Concept

Robinson Road Recreation Area

All courts and fields will be open and available for use first come, first serve. There are no fees to used either facility. There will be no swim lessons or tennis lessons this year (2024).

South Beach & The Bend in the Road Beach

South Beach and the Bend in the Road Beach are open to the public with no parking restrictions at this time however restrictions may change from day to day. Right fork (Herring Creek Road) will have more parking and more usable beach area due to erosion at left fork (Katama Road). Left fork (Katama Road) will have limited parking and limited usable beach area due to erosion.

Lifeguards & Park Patrol will be on stands and the ground as of June 28th.

Please note: Alcohol, open fires, amplified music, tents, and wedding setups are not permitted at South Beach.

South Beach suffered catastrophic damage in storms over the winter. The beach has been rebuilt and replanted with dune grass and new access ways have been created. Please stay on fenced paths. Do not walk on the dunes - hazards such as ticks and poison ivy are present.
